West Coast National Park

The West Coast National Park is located next to the Atlantic Ocean close to the sheltered harbour of Saldanha Bay and crystal clear waters of the Langebaan Lagoon.

Located approximately 100km from Cape Town makes this ideal for a day trip or a longer stay, the park runs between the town of Yzerfontein up to the Langebaan Lagoon.

The Postberg Flower Reserve which falls within the park is only open for a few months every year during the flowering season which is August and September. Many outdoor activities to keep you busy such as hiking trails and many water sports, due to the recreational zoning of the park some water sports are only allowed in certain restricted areas.

Variety of wildlife can be found in the park and along the Atlantic Ocean you will also have the opportunity to see some southern right whales, orcas (killer whales) and humpback whales.
