Located in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, the Mountain Zebra National Park was established in 1937 for the purpose of providing a nature reserve and conservation of the endangered Cape Mountain Zebra.
Graciously saving the Cape Mountain Zebra surely from extinction, the numbers went from a small herd of 6 in 1937 to over 1000 zebras currently calling this national park their home.
