Kruger National Park

Kruger National Park is the biggest national park and wildlife reserve in South Africa, its diverse landscapes include mountains, bushveld and tropical forests. With its high density of animals you are almost guaranteed to see and experience the Big 5 – Lions, Rhinos, elephants, buffalos and leopards.

Bordering both the Limpopo and Mpumalanga provinces there are multiple gates where one can enter the park. On the northeastern part of the park it borders the Limpopo Transfrontier Park, where you can enter through the Pafuri or Giriyondo border posts into Mozambique.

Due to the sheer size of the park there are an abundance of overnight facilities within the park to suit any person, from camping to some of the most luxurious game lodges in Africa can be found throughout the park and surrounding areas.

One of the best places for game viewing and wildlife experience, self drive is allowed and most camps within the park do safari game drives throughout the day. Early mornings, sunset and night drives being the most popular.

Day visitors are allowed but due to the size of the park it is recommended to set aside a few days exploring the Kruger National Park. Hiking, guided walks, mountain biking and 4×4 trails are popular activities within the park, for something different why not try a sunrise game viewing experience from a hot air balloon. Possibilities are endless in one of the last remaining untouched wildernesses of Africa.
