Giba Gorge Park is based just off the N3 highway near Pinetown and Durban and boasts some of the finest biking trails in Kwazulu-Natal.
This park is perfectly set up for avid BMX riders on their pump track, family and sporting events and is a must do for keen KZN mountain bike trail enthusiasts.
With their three routes (Blue, Green and Purple) set up to start and finish at their outdoor restaurant and relaxing area called Giba Graze, you can be sure to tackle even more than one of their trails adding up to more than 30kms after a pizza and finishing off with a Darling Brew beer.
They have loads of jumps and burms to fly through as you explore their various combinations of the 3 biking trails and routes and these KZN trails work in any weather. With some very steep sections and tight turns you can take as optional (simple parallel passes) one can really hit the track with any level of experience. One of their coaches can also lead you through the trails for skills development and exploring the routes.
There is a waterfall higher up the gorge if you’re keen for a splash in the hot KZN summer during your ride at Giba Gorge Park near Durban and this 300 hectare private owned land delivers every time!
