G-Spot Mountain Bike Trail

At the foothills of Helderberg mountain lies the now world renowned single track called G-Spot Mountain Bike Trail.

Right above the suburb Dalsig in Stellenbosch at the end of Kronendal road you can find some epic jumps, fast corners and superb downhill sections designed and built by Mark Gordon.

This track has reached sort of a cult status as it’s clouded in a bit of secrecy and is completely free – just ride at your own risk. It’s managed by Stellenbosch Trails as is open all the time. Built for fun between friends it truly is a little mountain escape from Stellenbosch town hustle and bustle and the views, especially during sunset, is simply epic!

There’s an semi-official leadr board on their website and is updated with the Strava software – se feel free to engage the other riders in your own time and at a pace you are comfortable with – if you’re the daredevil rider and want to break some records over the weekend – this is the trail for you.

Highly rated between other Cape Town MTB trails, it’s one you can tackle any time while deciding which Stellenbosch trails you want to add on your list next.

G-Spot Mountain Bike Trail is a quick and fun ride and with a modest skills level, anyone can enjoy hitting this free track.
