Hennops Crocodile Hiking Trail is definitely a perfect fit for nature lovers, avid bird watchers and a must for historians.
This lovely 11.5 km trail features a cave that was an Anglo Boer War hospital station and beautiful river crossings. The crossings make use of a hand operated cable car crossing the Hennops River and adds some extra fun. There is also a suspension bridge to add to the adventure.
The Hennops Trail is very clearly market out with painted feet and very neatly kept. We would recommend to use closed hiking boots as the trail is very rocky yet traverses stunning foothills and valleys and is lined with wild flowers, massive aloe trees and many bird species.
For adults is costs R60 to enter this Gauteng Hike and includes a map of the routes. And being only a 40 minute drive from Jo-Burgh its bound to be an adventurous weekend getaway on the Hennops Krokodilberg Hiking Trail.
