The Karoo Camp Loop Hiking Trail is a 4.2km circular trail located in the Karoo National Park close to the town of Beaufort West.
This is a guided trail led by a qualified guide and offers a chance to see wildlife in the semi arid karoo landscape, bookings are done at the park reception.
Close to the trail you will also find the Ou Schuur Interpretive Centre. This old farm building has been renovated to reflect its original form dating back to the 1800’s. The centre offers displays and historical information on the fauna and flora of the Karoo, also the ecology and cultural history of the Karoo National Park.
